The purpose of HawkNet Cybersecurity Student Organization is to:

A. Educate students about emerging threats and trends that we are seeing in the world.

B. Provide hands-on training in various areas of cybersecurity, including but not limited to, network security, digital forensics, and ethical hacking.

C. Connect members with professionals in the cybersecurity industry.

D. Provide professional development for members.

E. Promote cooperation, volunteering, and unity among all students.

Members Benefits

Members of HCSO gain valuable opportunities to network and collaborate with fellow students, faculty, and industry professionals, creating connections that support both academic and career success.

In addition, active members are eligible to earn graduation honor cords. To qualify, members must earn a minimum of 15 points per semester.

Member Honor Cords will be Black and Red, while Officer and Governance Honor Cords will be Black, Red, and Gold, recognizing their leadership and service to the organization.
