Mission The purpose of this association is to: a. educating students about the latest cyber security threats and trends. The organization provides hands-on training in various areas of cyber security, including network security, digital forensics, and ethical hacking; b. promotes positive and meaningful communication, coordination, and collaboration between Hawks and with other components of the university; c. promotes cooperation, volunteerism, and unity among Hawks; and d. provides opportunities for professional development for Hawks. Section 2 - The Mission of this association is: a. The HCSO at UHCL is an organization of university students engaged in interaction and dialogue with faculty, staff, and students. HCSO provides increased opportunities for its members through collective input, networking, and professional development, inspired by creating a safe and secure online environment for all and is dedicated to fostering the next generation of cyber security experts
