Student groups that receive funding from the university through student service fees to support student programs and initiatives. These student groups are independently operated by the student leaders and members, have control over planning and execution of events, and budget requests/spending. University sponsored organizations may work closely with a division or department and receive support from a full-time faculty/staff member that serves as the organization’s advisor as part of their job description.

University Sponsored organizations receive funds directly from student service fees annually, and therefore, are not eligible for funding through the Activities Funding Board.
