A student organization that has completed the requirements to be officially registered with the institution and whose membership is composed of UHCL students, or a combination of students, faculty, and staff. Student organizations operate with autonomy, with minimal oversight of student organization operations. Student organizations are subject to the rights, responsibilities, and limitations outlined in the Registered Student Organization handbook for as long as they maintain their registration status. Registration of a campus organization does not guarantee official university approval of all student organization activities. Student organization registration may be suspended or withdrawn at any time if the organization is found in violation of university policies, the Student Code of Conduct, or any local, state, or federal laws.

Beta Alpha Psi invites all Accounting, Finance, and MIS majors that meet our academic requirements to join our organization. We provide a forum for members to interact with financial information and business professionals, faculty and other students. These contacts are invaluable assets toward building a successful career network. Every member will have numerous opportunities to meet prospective employers and professionals during each semester. Since all meetings will be attended by employers, all participants are required to dress in business casual attire unless business dress is specified. This requirement is further defined as no jeans, no sandals, something you would wear to an interview. Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society is a society for students, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. It seeks to encourage scholarly attainment in this field of learning by reserving its regular membership for those who achieve superior academic records and who indicate special aptitude for and major interest in the life sciences. It desires to cultivate intellectual interest in the natural sciences and to promote a better appreciation of the value of biological study and thus welcomes into associate membership all those students who are interested in biology. Beta Beta Beta also endeavors to extend the boundaries of man's knowledge of nature by encouraging new discoveries through scientific investigation and to this end encourages undergraduate students to begin research work and report their findings in the journal of the society, BIOS. It emphasizes, therefore, a three-fold program: stimulation of scholarship, dissemination of scientific knowledge, and promotion of biological research.

The benefits of membership begin with the camaraderie of being part of a nationally recognized organization that honors exceptional students of the biological sciences. It is an honor to be a part of the high quality, like-minded membership of the Nu Delta Alpha chapter of Tri-Beta. Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society provides its members access to scholarships and grants to design and carry out independent research. This research can then be published in the national Tri-Beta journal, BIOS (which all members receive!) and becomes eligible for presentation at district, regional and national conventions. In addition, as part of our local chapter, you will be invited to participate in our social, volunteer, and educational events as well as in our annual Biology Meet & Greet (and/or Virtual Professors Panel Series) and the TriBeta Spring Induction Ceremony to honor students' significant achievements within the society.

Associate Members shall:

Be undergraduate students with an interest in biological science (can be any “major” of study, e.g. psychology, business, computer science, history, art, etc.)
Be ineligible for regular membership
Pay membership dues of $105.00 before induction
Be able to become a regular member when eligible by meeting the below qualifications and paying an additional lifetime membership fee of $20.00
Associate members shall be eligible to participate in all local, district, and national activities except those specifically reserved to regular members by this constitution
Be eligible to hold non constitutionally specified chapter offices (e.g. SGA Rep and Specialty Chair Positions)
Regular Members shall:

Be undergraduate “majors” in biological science at an institution where a chapter of Beta Beta Beta is located
Have completed at least one term of the second year of a four-year curriculum or its equivalent
have completed at least three semester courses in biological science, of which at least one is not an introductory course, with an average grade of B or its equivalent in those biology courses
Have a B average in all courses
Be in good academic standing
Pay lifetime membership dues of $125.00 before induction
Be able to wear honor cords, if eligible
Only regular members may hold the constitutionally specified chapter offices, vote on chapter membership nominations and national questions, and represent the chapter or vote at national conventions
Graduate Members shall:

Be graduate students enrolled in a biology program at an institution where there is a chapter or faculty members actively serving in the biological sciences
Pay lifetime membership dues of $125.00 before induction
Be able to wear honor cords, if eligible
Be eligible to hold non constitutionally specified chapter offices (e.g. SGA Rep and Specialty Chair Positions)
They may participate in the local activities of any chapter or club except for the holding of constitutionally specified chapter or club offices and voting on chapter or club membership and national matters
They may attend district or national conventions, and, upon special designation, represent their original chapter or club at a national convention
They shall not be eligible for undergraduate awards

Turning Point USA’s mission is to educate students about the importance of fiscal responsibility, free markets, patriotism, and U.S. constitutional rights, through innovative, non-partisan, thought-provoking, and open discussions on campus. This is conducted using the provided academic resources, which include weekly pamphlets, short videos, free contributor guest-speakers, and in-person support from TPUSA staff.
