Space Hawks Rocketry is an official Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) chapter dedicated to teaching students the technical and managerial processes behind developing aerospace technology. Led by students with industry experience, Space Hawks Rocketry provides students with a breathe of hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Technical Writing, and even Art and Design!
Students will be apart of an internationally recognized aerospace organization, receive mentorship and hands-on experience relevant to industry practices, and engage in professional development. Group projects are the main focus of the team, with workshops in CAD, rocket simulation, PCB design, avionics fabrication, and certification rocket development to teach new students with all the fundamentals they will need to contribute to the teams goals. The experience gained through these processes serve as a great resume builder for students looking to enter technical fields.
