Applications are now open for students interested in becoming a 2026 UHCL Orientation Leader (OL)! Orientation Leaders play a vital role in welcoming and supporting new students and families as they transition to the UHCL community.
Orientation Leaders gain leadership experience, develop professional skills, and help create a welcoming and inclusive campus experience during New Student Orientation programs. OLs work as part of a dynamic student leadership team, participate in paid training during the spring semester, and support orientation programming throughout the summer.
Students interested in applying must attend one required Orientation Leader Info Session before submitting their application. Both in-person and virtual sessions are available to accommodate student schedules.
Applications close February 25, 2026 at 5:00 PM, and selected applicants will be invited to participate in group interview workshops later in February.
