Hawk Leadership Institute: General Information Sessions

Are you ready to grow as a leader and make a meaningful impact at UHCL?

Join us for an information session to learn more about the Hawk Leadership Institute (HLI)—UHCL’s premier, year-long leadership development experience designed for students who want to lead with purpose.

During this session, you’ll get an inside look at what it means to be part of HLI, including:

• Program structure and expectations
• Weekly sessions and time commitment
• The collaborative leadership impact project
• Leadership development opportunities and experiences
• The application and selection process

HLI is a September–April commitment, with weekly sessions held on Fridays from 1:00–3:00 PM, along with additional opportunities such as service experiences and leadership events throughout the year.

This session will help you determine if HLI is the right fit for your leadership journey and give you the information you need to successfully apply.

Attendance at an information session is required to be considered for the program.

Sessions are offered both in person and virtually to provide flexibility for students.
