Student organization leaders regularly make decisions that can affect not only themselves, but also their members, guests, and the broader campus community. Understanding alcohol and other drugs through the lens of responsible leadership can help organizations make informed decisions and create safer experiences.

In the final session of the Student Organization Leadership Development (SOLD) Series, participants will explore alcohol and drug education, prevention, harm reduction, and the responsibilities associated with serving as a student leader.

Students will consider how alcohol and other substances can influence individual and community well-being, judgment, organizational activities, and the overall student experience. The session will also help leaders recognize situations that may require intervention or additional support and consider proactive strategies for creating healthier and safer organizational environments.
