Step into the season and celebrate one of UHCL’s most beloved traditions — Lighting at the Letters!

Join the Center for Student Engagement and the Campus Activities Board (CAB) as Alumni Plaza transforms into a winter wonderland filled with lights, music, and holiday cheer. The evening features festive activities, delicious treats, and a special lighting ceremony that brings the UHCL letters to life at sunset — a shining symbol of community and campus pride.

Enjoy a night full of fun and connection with:

A Snowy experience for fun and photo ops

DIY craft stations hosted by campus departments and student organizations

Seasonal treats like cocoa, cider, and cookies

Food and giveaways, including custom Lighting at the Letters mugs (while supplies last)

Music and holiday vibes from a live DJ

A lighting ceremony at 5:45 p.m., led by the CAB President and the Director for the Center for Student Engagement

Bring your friends, bundle up, and make memories as we close out the semester together. Stick around after the ceremony for CAB’s Holiday Movie Night in SSCB 1100 Lecture Hall starting at 8:00 p.m.
