Get ready to launch the semester with a burst of Hawk pride! The University of Houston–Clear Lake invites all students, faculty, and staff to join the Blue & Green Spirit Kickoff tomorrow, Wednesday, August 20, from 12 PM to 2 PM CDT. Hosted by the Center for Student Engagement in the SSCB Lobby, this FREE event welcomes all students to come and show their school spirit!
Expect cupcakes, giveaways, a photo booth, and—of course—plenty of UHCL spirit as we kick off the beloved tradition of Blue & Green Wednesdays, where the Hawk community proudly wears blue and green every week.
Why Blue & Green Wednesdays Matter
Blue & Green Wednesdays aren’t just about rocking UHCL’s colors—they’re a weekly tradition that celebrates our community and connects students, faculty, and staff through Hawk pride. Every Wednesday, Hawks across campus show their spirit by wearing blue and green, reminding us that we’re all part of the same flock.
Tomorrow’s kickoff brings together all the best of our Spirit Programs—featuring Hunter the Hawk and Flight Crew, with an appearance from the Spirit Squad.
